NAKASERO– The NRM party tribunal has retained the victory of Burora Herbert Anderson as the party’s frag bearer for the Member of parliament representing Nakawa West constituency in the forthcoming general elections.
This is after the tribunal dismissed a petition from Mukesh Babubhai Shukla which sought for fresh party primary polls citing irregularities such as altering of results, intimidation of agents among others.
However the tribunal found out that the petitioner failed to prove the allegations to the required standard.
In the 17th July 2025 NRM primary elections, Burora was declared the winner with 3, 075 votes and the petitioner Mukesh obtained Only 108 votes
