Hon Annet Anita Among, the Speaker of Parliament has expressed gratitude to all National Resistance Movement (NRM) who voted her overwhelmingly voted her on the post of First Vice Chairperson Female on Central Executive Committee (CEC) at the elections held at Kololo Airstrip strip on Wednesday.

Jollyful Among, thanked the delegates for the overwhelming trust and support shown throughout the campaign.
“With deep humility, I accept this resounding victory. Thank you for your overwhelming love, trust, and support—not just at the ballot, but throughout this entire journey. This victory is not mine alone; it is ours together,” she said.
Among also paid tribute to Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga, commending her spirited campaign and outstanding service to the NRM and the country.
“Her wisdom and experience will continue to guide us as we build the future of our movement,” she noted.
Looking ahead, the Speaker rallied delegates and party members to focus on strengthening the NRM ahead of the next general elections.
“The task ahead is clear. Let us go back to the grassroots, mobilise for our Party leader and all our flag bearers, and ensure nothing short of a resounding victory for the mighty NRM,” she declared, drawing cheers from supporters.
