The late senior educationist, Aliza Moses, husband to Ntenjeru Kisoga Town Council Town Clerk, Ms. Mirembe Dinah, was laid to rest on Friday, 20th March, at Nawanyago Village in Nawanyago Town Council, Kamuli District. The solemn burial ceremony was attended by family members, friends, religious leaders, staff from Mukono District Local Government led by the Principal Town Clerk of Nakifuma Naggalama Town Council,Mr Kizito Francis Walubi who represented the Chief Administrative Officer of Mukono Mr Ddamba Henry and well-wishers.
The funeral service was led by the Bishop of Busoga Diocese, Rt. Rev. Prof. Grace Lubaale, who comforted the bereaved family with a message of faith and hope. He urged Ms. Dinah and her children to remain strong, reminding them that God cares in all circumstances and will continue to provide and protect them.
During the ceremony, mourners were encouraged to draw inspiration from the life of the late Aliza Moses, who was widely recognized for his passion for teaching, dedication to duty, and joyful approach to life.
While, Delivering the Condolences message of the Chief Administrative Officer of Mukono District Mr. Henry Ddamba, The Principal Commercial Officer,Mr Ntege Kenneth extended heartfelt condolences to Ms. Dinah and her family, encouraging them to stay strong during this difficult time.
Mr. Sultan and Ms. Nakyanzi Esther, the Deputy Mayor of Ntenjeru Kisoga Town Council, also conveyed condolence messages on behalf of Ms. Dinah’s colleagues, highlighting the support of the entire council.
The children of the deceased described their father as loving, disciplined, and trustworthy, noting that he instilled strong values in them.
Ms. Mirembe Dinah paid tribute to her husband as a devoted teacher who remained committed to his profession until his final moments. She called upon government workers to emulate his dedication and integrity.
Jinja District Chairperson, Mr. Moses Batwaala, described the deceased as a hardworking and passionate individual who embraced life with joy. He also emphasized the importance of respecting the wishes of the deceased and ensuring timely execution of their wills.
At the time of his passing, Aliza Moses was serving as the Headteacher of St. Stephen Nawanyago Primary School, a government-aided institution.
