KAMPALA– Comedian Obeid Lubega aka Reign who had expressed interest to Contest on NUP Ticket on position of Member of Parliament for Rubaga South Constituency, has accepted the results of the Vetting Committee.
“I congratulate you Hon Nassolo Eugenia upon becoming our NUP Flag bearer for Lubaga South and I congratulate my party for having gone through such a tough exercise. I do hereby rally behind you. And you have my full support.” Reign stated via his social media platforms
However, Hon. Aloysius Mukasa, the incumbent and his rival Mugga Adam who has expressed interest to have the NUP ticket for the same seat, have not yet spoken anything about the process which has left questions in many people’s minds.
During the last elections, NUP denied Eugenia the card, but she remained loyal to the Party upto this period where she is still among the committed party members.
