KAMPALA- Sports Club Villa, One of Uganda’s oldest football Clubs, has fired their Acting Technical Director, Moses Basena.
“The Club Management of S.C. Villa informs the Club fans and public that Mr. Moses Basena who has been acting as the Club’s Technical Director has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect.” Remarked Omara Mandela, Club President
He therefore, commended Basena for his tremendous efforts which have enabled Villa to remain among the best and wished him well in all his endeavors.
Being that no Substantial reason was given , most of the Villa fans were left in shock.
Basena, is a former Villa player and coach, was reappointed on July 21, 2025.
