Kampala– The Archbishop of Church of Uganda, The Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu, together with his wife, Maama Margaret Kaziimba, have this evening departed to attend the New Wineskins Conference in Ridgecrest, North Carolina, USA. Archbishop Kaziimba is leading a delegation of Bishops, Clergy, and Laity from Uganda.

The New Wineskins Conference, held every three years, is one of the largest global Anglican mission gatherings. It brings together Christians from across the world to worship, active missionaries and sending churches , learn, and collaborate on strategies for advancing mission work.
Guided by the theme “In His name the nations will put their hope,” the 2025 conference will focus on inspiring and equipping Anglicans to take the gospel to the nations while strengthening mission partnerships.
Throughout the conference, participants will engage in times of worship, hear from keynote speakers, and attend Mission Awareness Presentations (MAP Talks) addressing urgent mission-related issues such as reaching unreached peoples, refugee relief, and the use of arts in evangelism. Delegates will also benefit from practical training in specialized tracks that prepare them for service in diverse mission contexts.
