KAMPALA– A few hours after NRM Electoral Commission Chairperson, Dr. Tanga Odoi has announced Speaker Annet Anita Among as the overall winner for NRM Vice Chairperson, female, Hon. Rebecca Kadaga has finally spoken out.
Via her Social Media platform, she has decried voter bribery and several irregularities which unfolded in the NRM CEC elections which resulted into her defeat.
“I deeply thank everyone who, despite massive voter bribery and intimidation, stood by me. The gross abuse of office witnessed throughout this election is truly unacceptable.”
She therefore threatened that if such kind of oppression persists, she with other oppressed members of the party will have no option but to walk away.
In her recent media appearance, Kadaga express concern about increased monetization of politics which has left people with no option of considering other qualifications but have shifted the focus on those that give them money.
