Businessman Emmanuel Lwasa , on Friday shocked revellers and Netizens when he Publically declared that he has changed the religion.
Lwasa appeared in viral photos, a heading to Kibuli Mosque, to officially be welcomed to Islamic faith by performing all the required rituals.
Many agreed with him that being a mature person, he has a right to decide which religion he subscribes to or he finds convenient to him, well as others described it as an intention covered with hidden agenda.
” I request you to always be a reliable person, staunch Muslim with pure acts. I don’t want to find you in bars tomorrow. Because you have converted voluntarily without being forced, avoid engaging in drama of women.” Shiekh Senfuka Muhammad advising Lwasa
He also emphasized, that the new concert, should remain disciplined to protect the image of Shiekhs and the Imam who have led him throughout the whole process.
Lwasa changed the name from Emmanuel to Akram.
