The Uganda Police Force has declared a firm crackdown on crime and disruptive behavior ahead of the CHAN fixtures where Uganda will host Guinea at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole come tomorrow Friday.

This followed a security meeting held in collaboration with the Local Organizing Committee and Confederation of African Football (CAF) representatives to further strengthen security arrangements.
The police has therefore prohibited the following items in the Namboole stadium ahead of two fixtures: Algeria Vs South Africa at 17:00hrs, followed by Guinea Vs Uganda at 20:00hrs
Airhorns (vuvuzelas), Whistles, Glass bottles and cans , large bags and suitcases and Video cameras
Othes include; tools such as hammers , Flasks , Smoke canisters, fireworks and Umbrellas.
“We urge all attendees to comply with these regulations for their safety and the safety of others” the police emphasized.
Notably, on Monday Uganda hosted Algeria at Namboole and lost 3-0, despite a heavy pledge of 1.2 billion shs from the president to the team in every match won.
