KATAKWI– Hon. Peter Ogwang, the member of Parliament for Ngariam County in Katakwi district has defeated the two other colleagues in the recently concluded NRM Party Primaries.
Ogwang was last night declared as the National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag bearer for the same post in the forthcoming general elections after registering a total of 35,076 out of the 39,228 voters from the Constituency.
“I therefore declare Ogwang Peter, who has polled the highest number
of votes 35,076 representing 89.4% as the duly elected NRM Flag bearer for Ngariam County Member of Parliament, 2025.” Declared Otilem James , the NRM Electoral Commission Returning officer for Katakwi district.
The second person was Mulalu Daniel with 2,264 votes, followed by Otuko Augustine with 1,888 votes.
