KAMPALA– The National Resistance Movement (NRM) has announced it’s Set to hold it’s 4th National Conference which will be held from 27th July to 28th July 2025 under a theme “Building a shared Prosperity: Investing in Uganda’s future.”
According to the notice signed by General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the Chairperson of the party, the meeting which will be held at Kololo, will include; Keynote address by the National Chairman, presentation of names of recommended persons from the National Executive Council who are standing for election to the following positions in the Central Executive Committee.
The positions will include Ist National Vice Chairperson. 2nd National Vice Chairperson (Female), six (6) Vice Chairpersons representing the Regions of Uganda-East, Central, North, West, Kampala and Karamoja. Campaigns by nominees in (3) above and subsequently elections.
“Receive and pass Resolutions regarding which persons have . Receive the names of the person(s) who have been recommended by the National Executive Committee to be elected as the Presidential Candidate for NRM in the 2026 Presidential Elections.”
They will receive and pass a Resolution(s) regarding which person(s) have been duly elected as the Presidential Candidate for NRM in the 2026 Presidential elections.
Lastly, the conference will have an address by the elected 2026 Presidential Flag Bearer.
