KAMPALA– Singer Ibrahim Mayanja aka Big eye has accepted the results of NUP Elections Management Committee (EMC) which declared Journalist Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa as the Party Flag bearer for position of Member of Parliament representing Nansana Municipality.
“The journey to freedom is not defined by leadership positions. While they guide us, true liberation has always been, and will always be, about Uganda our beloved nation with Nansana Municipality standing proudly within it.”
He also extended his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Nansana. “Your trust and warm welcome have inspired me. With your support, I envision not only a better Nansana, but a greater Uganda.”
That since the party has decided, to entrust leadership to Zambaali, he asked them to support this decision for the progress of the party and the advancement of Uganda as a country.
“To my family, supporters, and well wishers, thank you for your unwavering love and encouragement. Your support continues to fuel my resolve to make a difference.” Mayanja further added
Ever since last evening announcement, Many of the politicians who received NUP party ticket have been jubilating as well as those who were thrown out , promising to announce their next move.
