Nassuuti , Mukono– The Bishop of Mukono Diocese, Rt. Rev. Enos Kitto Kagodo has today brought a message of love and forgiveness to the congregation as Uganda prepares for elections.
He was today 14th September on his pastoral visit to Holy Trinity Parish Church in Nassuuti Archdeaconry where over 30 Christians confirmed into the Anglican faith.
As he stood before the gathered faithful, Bp. Kagodo shared his vision for the church and a Uganda where forgiveness and mercy reign supreme.
“When we forgive those who have wronged us, we open the door to God’s glory and create a better living environment for all.” Bishop Kagodo said.
Drawing inspiration from the book of Daniel 1:9-20, he emphasized that forgiveness is a godly act that can spark blessings and bring people together.
The Bishop’s words resonated deeply with the parishioners, who were reminded of the importance of following Jesus’ example of love and forgiveness.
As the community looked to the future, Bishop Kagodo encouraged them to choose leaders who would uphold the values of compassion and mercy.
Ven.Rotan Kenneth Lukwago Kampi , The Archdeacon of Nassuuti offered words of wisdom to the newly confirmed Christians, advising them to grow in their faith and not rush into serious responsibilities too quickly.
Meanwhile, Rev.Geoffrey Ssebina , the parish priest of Ttakajjunge, expressed gratitude to Bishop Kagodo for his tireless efforts to build a new cathedral for the Diocese and pledged continued support from the congregation he leads.
As the community came together in a spirit of forgiveness and unity, they were reminded that God’s love and mercy can transform lives and bring hope to a brighter future.
