A 3-0 defeat to Algeria on Monday had left the Cranes in a spot to bounce back by beating Guinea
The exciting moments began in the 31st minutes when Reagan Mpande scored and took the cranes into a lead.
In the 59th minute, Allan Okello beat Ousmane Camara the Guinea goalkeeper with an assured right kick to make 2-0
Ivan Ahimbisibwe completed an impressive 3-0 victory when he rounded the Guinea goalkeeper with a minute to go.
The victory over Guinea was Uganda’s first in the 2024 African Nations Championship ( CHAN).
Uganda’s win brings the Cranes back into business after Algeria and South Africa drew 1-1.
Both the Cranes and Guinea are now 3 points, one behind Leaders Algeria and ahead of South Africa heading into the Match day three of Group C.
