Lweza, Kajjansi– The Uganda Electoral Commission has on 23rd upto 24th September 2025, concluded the nomination of candidates intending to contest for Presidency in the forthcoming general elections.
Through this two day exercise, the candidates who have been nominated included; Yoweri Kaguta Museveni from National Resistance Movement (NRM) , Robert Kasibante (NPP), Mabiriizi Joseph Conservative Party (CP).
Other were; Nathan Nandala Mafabi of Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi of National Unity Platform (NUP) , Gen. Mugisha Muntu of Alliance for National Transformation (ANT), Mubarak Munyagwa of Common Man’s Party (CMP) and Bulira Frank (RPP).
Majority of these candidates have already held their Post Nomination Rallies as they prepare their Campaign schedule.
