KAMPALA– Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) has cracked a whip again and ordered Salt Television to stop airing it’s morning show entitled “Omusunsuzi” hosted by Nakangubi Jennifer aka Full Figure with Charles James Ssenkubuge.
According to the Public Notice dated Saturday 13th September 2025, the above show is in breach of Broadcasting Standards.
“The Commission found that this program, which airs on weekdays from 6:00 am to 8:00 am, contains abusive content, inappropriate language, and displays unprofessional conduct by the presenters. These broadcasts
occur during morning hours when children are likely to be watching,
potentially exposing them to unsuitable material.”
The commission basing on its mandate provided under the Uganda Communications Act, Cap. 106, it has directed Salt TV to,Immediately suspend the airing of the “Omusunsuzi” program, Provide written responses to the complaints received, as well as to submit recordings of the program broadcast between August 1,2025, and September 12, 2025.
