Dr. Emmanuel Sserunjogi Oweddembe, the Mayor for Kawempe Division, has thanked the National Unity Platform (NUP) Elections Management Committee for having found him fit to Contest on the same seat on the Party Flag.
“From the bottom of my heart , I thank my party of National Unity Platform, my President, fellow leaders, Kawempe people , Religious leaders and supporters for entrusting me.”
He also thanked the Religious leaders for their continuous blessings they have always rendered to him throughout his tenure.
“I call upon all my brothers and sisters who were entrusted with NUP Party Flag to use it and serve the people whole heartedly. I Pledge to be obedient to my President and the top command, our supporters, religious leaders, people of Kawempe.”
On Friday, National Unity Platform released a full list of their candidates for local government posts in the forthcoming general elections.
