Vocal Political Activist and Comedian, Sammy Okanya has extended gratitude to National Unity Platform (NUP) Party for remembering him through the financial support offered to him.
After the long outcry, finally it paid off, as Okanya was summoned to NUP headquarters in Makerere Kavule , Kawempe Division.
Okanya met some of the party leaders including , Principal, Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu who offered him financial support towards his medical condition.
The recipient later revealed that he received 3 million shillings cash.
Sammy appreciated the offer and called upon all those with any kind of support to inform him because he is ready to pick it up regardless of their political affiliation.
For some months now, Sammy has been battling with Kidney complications which requires him huge amounts of money beyond what he can afford.
