NAMBOOLE – What started as a joyful moment for Uganda Cranes fans today, has ended into a sorrow moment at Mandela National Stadium popularly known as Namboole.
Senegal has washed away the joy that Ugandans have had in the last weeks of CHAN competition after defeating Uganda Cranes on 1. 0 basis.
This loss has marked the end of journey for all Pamoja CHAN organizers, after two other Co hosts (Kenya and Tanzania) being pushed out of the tournament.
That means that Senegal, the defending Champion has qualified for semi finals.
However, Ugandans have played a very good football considering the performance with Senegal which is one of the top countries in football rankings (both international and at Africa level).
