A few days after the NRM Elections Tribunal has thrown out Hon. Theodore Ssekikuubo’s election petition challenging the Victory of Brig General (Rtd ) Emmanuel Rwashande as the party flag bearer for Lwemiyaga County.
Ssekikuubo has revealed his next move, while appearing on Next Media’s Barometer Show on Thursday evening, Theodore noted that he has suffered enough in NRM and has finally decided to come independent. “I am Ssekikubo, standing as an independent candidate outside the NRM.”
According to the NRM Electoral Commission, Rwashande won with 16,358 votes against Ssekikubo’s 8,702. Edmond Bwiire came third with 960 Votes, Ms Kabatsi received 473 votes and Jacob Kato got 11 votes.
