KYADONDO – Dr. Tanga Odoi , the Chairperson for National Resistance Movement (NRM) Electoral Commission, has cancelled the election results which were recently declared by the Party Electoral Commission officials from Kapchorwa.
Tanga admitted that there was a higher level of incompetence exhibited by their staff and ordered that these results should be cancelled with immediate effect.
“Our staff didn’t follow the guidelines of even reading out the results , with immediate effect, the Electoral Commission has cancelled the results. The whole electoral process of 17th July 2025 is null and void.” Remarked Tanga while addressing journalists at NRM headquarters in Kyadondo on Sunday.
This has come at a time when majority of the Party members who were defeated in the Party Primaries have expressed their disatisfaction with the results.
